Groundwork Challenges Residents to Complete and Mail Back 2010 Census Forms |
Today, Groundwork challenged the residents of each of our three campuses to complete and mail back the 2010 Census form in an effort to eclipse the area’s Census 2000 mail participation rates. Our goal is to raise the participation rate to 72% across each campus.
The East New York campus is made up of eight census tracks which averaged a 48.7% mail participation rate in 2000. The East New York-Canarsie is made up of three census tracts and Bedford-Stuyvesant is made up (in whole or partially) by nine tracts had response rates of 54.7% and 57.2% respectively. Below you can track response for each census tract.
